What does it mean when a medication goes generic?

Generic versions of medications can pose a great opportunity for patients to receive them at lower cost. However, with discrepancies in dosing and insurance considerations, it can also be a complex process for both patients and provider practices. Avella helps manage complexities such as:

  • REMS programs and patient care coordination, including fill time and patient counseling
  • Financial assistance for patients in the absence of manufacturer co-pay cards and free drug programs
  • Patients taking multiple medications concurrently
